Beth and Brandon open

Beth and Brandon open for Weary Ramblers April 11 Green Guitar Folk House

BETH AND BRANDON are the musical duo of Beth Watts Nelson and Brandon Day.

They combine their classical, folk, jazz, and choral music training to create a modern perspective on a vintage sound.  With a focus on vocal melody and harmony, their songs sound as if they had been unearthed with the patina of decades in the songbook of Americana.

An array of instruments (guitar, banjo and bass) pass between the hands of the duo to bring original and standard tunes to life.

Forged in the rich musical melting pot of the Rural Grit Happy Hour in KC’s Crossroads Arts District, both are members of other Kansas City bands (Konza Swamp, Little Miss Dynamite, CatGut, Whiskey Mash). Together they seek the time and means to provide a genuine and meaningful musical experience to their audiences.

Where is the Green Guitar Folk House?

Green Guitar Folk House is located in old downtown Lenexa, Kansas. The shows are sponsored by Shawnee Mission Unitarian Universalist Church (SMUUCh), held in its sanctuary. The entrance is right next to the railroad tracks.

Look for the old elementary school! The sanctuary is a beautifully converted, former school gymnasium. Although our venue is sponsored by SMUUCh, this is not a church event.

The series is open to the public. ALL AGES are welcome to attend.

Green Guitar Folk House is located at
9400 PFlumm, Lenexa, Kan.

Look for the big Green Guitar!
